This Zip file contains profiles made for the STS inks "Eboni" MK, diluted with my generic base
version c6c. The printer was an old 1400.

STS inks acquired Image Specialists, which was the supplier of the MIS Associates Eboni inks.
Whether MIS will stay with STS or find an alternative source is uncertain. As of 11/2014 MIS
was still doing testing of the STS MK.

The STS MK is said to be the exact ink as the previous Eboni input ink. However, I have noticed
some slight printing differences. The prints are slightly warmer (about one Lab B unit), and
the dmax on Arches, in particular, can be dramatically more, in the 1.7 range after one or more
days of dry-down. Until the ink dries for a day, the readings are not high. Most of these
profiles were linearized with just a hari drier drying. As such, they usually do not reflect
the ultimate dmax that can be achieved. Only the 100% and 95% patches are significantly affected.

Profiles are for two different ink arrangements. Those with "eb6" in the name are for the usual
Eboni-6 ink arrangment. Those with "CVT" in the name are for the beta ink arrangment I have
tentatively called "Carbon Variable Tone" because even with the Epson driver one can select
more MK in the image to cool the print relative to the dilute Eb6. See the draft PDF at
