To download C86 curves:
1. RIGHT Click on the name of the curve,
2. Click "Save Target As ...."
Your browser will probably show the file as an "*.htm" file,
3. CHANGE THE FILE EXTENSION to “*.acv” by deleting the "htm" and typing in "acv."
4. In the "Save as type" box (below the file name) change to "All Files" by hitting the down arrow at the right.
5. Photoshop looks in the Photoshop folder first when a user wants to load a curves file. So if you do not already have a separate folder for these files, that is a good place to put such a folder.
Epson Enhanced Matte and most of the papers below print well with sliders, but I use these curves to make prints that match more closely those printed on my 7600 and other printers that use my curves. The curve is simply applied to the grayscale file just before printing.
Alternatively, these *.acv curves appear to load and work well in the Transfer Function section of the Print with Preview.
The name of the curve includes the settings in the driver. Color Controls are still used to get the print as close to optimum as possible. The curve then has little work to do.
Be careful not to leave the curve or curves layer on the file when editing it.

This second PremierArt 205 curve is a Transfer Function. It will probably also work for the other weights of PremierArt Fine Art Hot Press as well as Epson UltraSmooth. The Transfer Function in CS2 is in "Print with Preview," "Output." Note that I use EZ-N in C & M, and EZ-Warm in the Y position to get a warm-neutral that matches the paper base very well and also minimizes any cross-overs.
(Scrapbook paper prints considerably better with the curve.)
For an Enhanced Matte print that will have a Lab L=50, use the folloing curve with Gamma set to 2.2, Brightness to -5, and Contrast to -5.
